Writer and critic (1893–1967) best known for her often cruelly witty and cynical tone. ALS, one page, on a 4 x 6.25 piece of her personal note paper, October 31. Parker graciously replies to an autograph request. In full: “Thank you so much for wanting my autograph. So here it is. With best wishes to the Junior English class—Dorothy Parker.” Light toning and a few spots of soiling, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope postmarked November 1, 1955, addressed by Parker with her name and return address written on the reverse.
