Sauk City, Wisconsin: Arkham House, 1944-1964. <BR>First hardcover editions. Four twelvemo volumes. <I>Poems for Midnight</B></I> is inscribed and signed on the title page by the author.<BR><BR>Black cloth with gilt spine titles. Overall, books and dust jackets are near fine to fine, except <I>The Eye and the Finger</B></I>, which is overall very good with some wear and toning. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Donald Wandrei (1908-1987) was a member of the H. P. Lovecraft "inner circle" and co-founded Arkham House with August Derleth.
