Embroidered crew patch worn by Mission Specialist Don Peterson on his Launch and Entry Suit during the STS-6 mission from April 4‰ÛÒ9, 1983. The 4.5è x 4è patch is affixed to a certificate presented to Peterson by the Man-Systems Division, which reads below: "This original patch worn during your STS-6 mission." Matted and framed (sans glass) to an overall size of 14.25 x 12.25. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Robert Z. Pearlman, who affirms that the "framed display was obtained directly from the estate of astronaut Donald Peterson, who flew as a mission specialist on the maiden flight of the space shuttle Challenger."
