Ottawa. June 23rd, 1923 Issues. Lot of 2 notes and one proof vignette. Includes $2, P-34d., Group 1, Green seal, VG+ to almost Fine Condition, Serial # "G-686688"; $2, P-34e., Group 1, Bronze seal, Fine to Fine+ condition, Serial # "K-344265". Both notes are black on light green underprint with Edward, Prince of Wales in middle, backs olive-green with Arms of Canada. Also included is the matching proof vignette of Edward printed on india paper mounted on thin white card which originally was designed an printed by ABNC and eventually given to Canadian BNC. Imprint on bottom of vignette states. "H.R.H.Prince of Wales. Canada Special-A-20, American Bank Note Company". Canadian BNC. (3)
