This is a Native American Indian "Halo" style war bonnet crafted by Southern California artist Thomas Domiani. It is constructed of dyed turkey feathers, rawhide, hair pipe beads, brass beads, and seed beads. The war bonnet is very colorful, as one would expect of a ceremonial headdress, and is displayed on a sculpted plastic head of an Native American Indian. Lots of work and time were put into this bonnet, which has a trade cloth cap. The bust is also dressed with a hairpipe breastplate and choker. Both are made from plastic hair, bone, artificial sinew, and beads. Would make a nice decoration to any American Indian themed room.Sanderson Yosemite Collection HKA#62732
