Wallpaper covered, domed document box measuring 11.5 x 7.5 x 5.5. Wallpaper covering exhibits three patterns. Sides, front, and back show floral pattern stamped Carl Munck No. 3, in Augsp Bey. Top dome exhibits floral pattern paper in black, pink, and white around border with central portion covered in 8 panel piece depicting Saints. Side, front, and back floral paper appears to have been placed over original black, white, and pink paper that covers the top. Box exhibits worked tin hardware. Contains large archive related to the Beyer/Boyer and McGill families. Archive dates from mid 18th Century to early 20th Century and contains deeds, contracts, insurance policies, surveyors' maps, and tax documents. Of special note is a signed marriage certificate for Abraham Beyer and Barbara Jeston of Philadelphia dated November 6, 1750 and a Civil War discharge for Jacob Magill of the 53rd PA Infantry. A comprehensive grouping of documents and related family history. Sold as originally found.
