Excellent with 90% original blue finish remaining on the barrel thinning along high points to a mottled brown patina with a few light handling marks and surface scratches. The frame retains 95% original blue finish with minor thinning at high points and exposed edges. The loading gate still exhibits fine flashes of original niter blue. Both the hammer and lever retain strong brilliant original case colors. The wood is very fine with minor pressure marks and scattered marks down the right side of buttstock. The action is excellent.
