Fixed sights, with "1939" on the extension and "S/42" on the toggle. "Eagle/ 63" proofs are present on the extension and barrel, and the "droop wing eagle" firing proof is on the extension, barrel, and breechblock. The back strap is numbered "N/ 3601", the magazine "N3601", with matching numbers overall. Checkered grips and blue magazine with aluminum base. With takedown tool, extra magazine and a brown leather flap holster, marked on the back with an "eagle/M", "1938", "C.WEISS/ BRAUNSCHWEIG" and a faint Waffenamt stamp. This pistol is listed by serial number and Navy Property number on page 108 of Third Reich Lugers and Their Accessories, Volume III by Jan C. Still.

Condition: Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing a brown patina on the grip straps and extension, gray around the edges, scattered handling marks and light spotting. Grips are also very fine, with a few light chips and dents. Holster is good, with scuffs, scratches and cracks. Mechanically excellent.
