Manufactured in 1911. Blade front and notch rear sights with standard two line Colt address/patent dates on top of barrel, "COLT D.A. 45" on the left side and the bottom marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". "K" marked cylinder latch, "WGP" inspection mark on the upper right side of the frame and "R.A.C." on the right rear. Standard model and serial number markings on butt on either side of the lanyard loop and fitted with smooth walnut grips stamped "R.A.C." on the bottom of both panels. Complete with a "US" embossed brown leather flap holster. The accompanying factory letter verifies the caliber, barrel length, blue finish wood grips, lanyard swivel and that it was shipped to the Commanding Officer Ordnance Depot Manila, Philippine Islands in a shipment of 1,000 on February 3, 1911.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 70% plus original blue finish with scattered thinning and wear, with areas of smooth gray patina on the barrel and smooth brownish gray patina on the grip straps. The grips are also very good with a few scattered minor dings and handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine. The holster is very fine with minor flex cracking on the flap, a few minor scuffs and tight stitching.
