Manufactured in 1933, this revolver is built on the 44 Hand Ejector Third Model frame. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent dates, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side and the caliber designation on the right. The lower left side of the frame is marked with the S&W Trade Mark logo and "MADE IN U.S.A." on the right front. The matching serial number is marked on the butt, rear face of the cylinder and on the barrel shroud. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, casehardened checkered hammer and serrated trigger and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver S&W medallions. The accompanying factory letter verifies the serial number, blue finish, 5 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips and that it was shipped to Wm. McCallister & Sons, Baltimore, MD. on March 3, 1933. Complete with an original two piece blue box with gold markings.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% bright original blue finish with a small patch of minor pitting on the muzzle and cylinder and some minor oxidation on the back strap. The revolver appears un-fired otherwise. The hammer and trigger retain 98% original case colors with some light spotting on the trigger. The grips are excellent plus. Sharp markings and mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some edge wear.
