Blade and notch sights on the swamped barrel with floral themed engraving on the lock hardware, external spring and chain assembly and an iron hand rest trigger guard. Smooth full length stock, with an iron ramrod and extensive inlays, including scrimshawed bone panels, combined bone/mother of pearl/semi-precious green stone flowers, a bone and wood sliding patch box lid, and a bone buttplate. Tag number 29 is affixed to the trigger guard which verifies it as being from the Stagecoach Collection. The inventory lists it as "Wheel lock Rifle, Tschinke, Silesian, mid-17th Century". It is photographed on page 47 of The Stagecoach Gun Museum Gun Collection.

Good as period repaired with a dark brown color on the barrel and a mixed gray and brown on the remainder. The stock is broken at the wrist and shows other cracks and scuffs. The front five inches of stock is added and does not match balance of stock. Mechanically untested.
