<B>Doc Savage Comics #1 (Street & Smith, 1940) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> It was only fair that Doc Savage got his own comic book -- after all, according to some, he's the character who inspired the concept of the superhero! This was just the second comic book series for Street and Smith (<B>Shadow Comics</B></I> being the first). Rounding out this issue were other pulp characters like Walter Gibson's Norgil the Magician. The issue is a Gerber "7." Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $970; FN 6.0 value = $1,455.
