A winner of four consecutive National League strikeout crowns, Dean was 30-7 in 1934 (the last National League pitcher to record 30 wins) when he and his brother Paul led the Gashouse Gang to the World Championship. Glossy 8 x 10 Falstaff Beer promotional photo of Dean’s first photo in a baseball uniform, originally taken in the 1920s, signed in black ink. Information comes from promotional caption affixed to reverse. Photo is stamp dated on the reverse April 26, 1957. Mild rippling, mainly to left side, and some light spotting to finish, otherwise fine condition.
