<td width="100%">
This is a nice clean 1940's 5 1/2 tooth points per inch skew back rip saw marked with the "DISSTON U.S.A.quot; logo on the handle medallion, the etch is visiable on the blade, and has the "D-8" logo and the Henry Disston statement and signature. The handle is clean, with very little wear, though it appear a past owner has applied a coat of clear lacquer to it sometime over the years, nice looking. The saw came from a shop with 3 generations of carpenters tool present. The 26" long blade is very straight, and sharp, ready to cut. The blade very little minor staining noted, not pitted, quite shiney. Although some may call the extra hole in the handle a trigger finger hole, it is designed to allow for the two handed sawing, by being able to place the thumb of your second hand in the hole for a good hold on long or heavy rip cuts. A really nice saw!
