Signed book: Walt Disney’s World of Fantasy. First edition, first printing. NY: Everest House, 1982. Hardcover with dustjacket, 9.25 x 11.75, 252 pages. Signed on the inside front cover and opening pages in ink, artist’s pencil and felt tip by 20 Disney animators, designers, and Mouseketeers, with many inscribing to Terry. In fine condition, with some light soiling to inside front cover from artist’s pencil, a bit of mild toning to covers, and a bit of light handling wear to dustjacket.
Signers are: Frank Thomas (one of the Nine Old Men), Ollie Johnston (one of the Nine Old Men), Marc Davis (one of the Nine Old Men), Bill Justice (co-creator of Chip N’ Dale), adding sketch of both characters, Ken O’Connor (art designer for Snow White and Fantasia), Wayne Allwine (Mickey Mouse’s third voice), Willie Ito (animator for Lady and the Tramp and Sleeping Beauty), Ken Anderson (art director who designed the Snow White cottage), Bob Moore (artist/illustrator) adding a portrait of Goofy, Clarence Nash (voice of Donald Duck for 50 years), Tony Anselmo (2nd voice of Donald and animator), Sam McKim (artist and illustrator of the first Disneyland map), Sherrie Alberoni (original Mouseketeer), Lonnie [Burr] (original Mouseketeer), Darlene Gillespie (original Mouseketeer), Doreen [Tracy] (original Mouseketeer), Bobby Burgess (original Mouseketeer) adding a Mickey sketch, Bill Bosche (designer and artist who worked for Ward Kimball’s space unit), Dick Ruhl (designer and artist in Kimball’s unit), adding a sketch of his ex-wife as Daisy Duck, and David Pacheco (animator/illustrator) adding a large Mickey sketch.
