Duke, Jr. 35mm, with the mission dates engraved on the reverse, in original issue plastic box. This medallion, though not flown, was made to commemorate the September 29-October 3, 1988, flight of the Discovery, the first space shuttle mission following the Challenger disaster on January 28, 1986. <BR><BR>The design features the surnames of crew members John M. Lounge, David C. Hilmers, George D. Nelson, Frederick H. Hauck, and Richard O. Covey on both sides. <BR><BR>This medallion comes complete with a signed Letter of Certification from Charles M.
