"The Dagger" backboard measures 18.5" x 30.5" in size. Hand-signed black felt tip pen by Dirk Nowitzki (Mavericks). The backboard is a limited edition and has been hand-numbered #/41.

Maybe it's because he stands 7 feet tall and can shoot over anyone. Maybe it's because he's worked tirelessly to make himself into one of the best shooters of all time. Whatever it is, Dirk Nowitzki is as consistent a shooter as anyone who has ever played despite consistently fading away from the basket and oftentimes shooting off one foot. His unorthodox style has resulted in him hitting some of the most clutch shots of the past two decades. His ability to connect in pressure situations has helped him earn the nickname "The Dagger". This miniature backboard features five classic Nowitzki poses as he gets ready to release a jumper. The sixth image shows Nowitzki celebrating yet another made 3-pointer. He began his 20th year in the NBA in 2017-18 as the sixth-leading scorer of all time. The centerpiece of this miniature backboard is the autograph that sits in the middle of the shooter's square. An actual breakaway rim is attached to the backboard to give it a scaled version of an actual backboard. A solid silver frame gives the piece the look of a classy memorabilia piece and gives the full piece a measurement of 18.5" x 30.5". Please note that this is not a toy. It should not be played with. The autograph is signed in paint pen with a thin 1/16 layer of acrylic covering the piece to protect the signature. Nowitzki has autographed "The Dagger" backboard in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process. You will receive a random number from the edition.
