<B>DIOPTASE ON WHITE CALCITE MATRIX</B></I><BR><BR> <I>Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto Region, Namibia</B></I><BR>The same information as the previous lot with the following exceptions. Instead of small dioptase crystals on large calcite crystals here we have the reverse: good sized dioptase crystals on small calcite crystals. As in the above case, the luster, and sharpness of the crystals coupled with the striking contrast between the blue-green and white coloration are prime factors in the high marks deserved by this specimen. The dioptase crystals coat the front, some of the top and sides of this piece.
