First quintuplets (born May 28, 1934) known to have survived their infancy. The identical sisters were born to parents Oliva Edouard and Elzire Dionne just outside Callander, Ontario, near the village of Corbeil. All five girls survived to adulthood. Two items: an ALS signed "Olivia Dionne," one page, 8 x 10, June 16, 1937, written from Callander, Ontario, in part: "in answer to your letter about Mr. Benson, I am sending you the contract…He wants to have the entire family—on Signs Mag—Anxious to hear anything about our case? We have not heard a thing of what is going on yet. We all expect to see you soon." The second item is a DS signed "Olivia Dionne" and "Elzire Dionne," one page, 8.5 x 11, no date, in part: "We, Olivia Dionne and Elzire Dionne, for ourselves and as parents and guardians of all our children except the quintuplets, of Callander, Ontario, Canada, do hereby make, constitute and appoint Lillian Barker…our true and lawful attorney…to negotiate, enter into and execute a binding agreement ad contract for the making, producing and exhibiting of a motion picture in which each of us personally and our children, other than the quintuplets, shall appear and take part."
