Dinosaur Tooth. From giant plant-eating Brachiosaurus, excavated many years ago in South Dakota. About 130 to 150 million years old. 1 -1/2 " at widest point, tapering to a blunted tip. The teeth of this dinosaur group were not as sharply pointed as those of carnivores. Wear at edges of the teeth was a criterion used to evaluate the age of a dinosaur. Color shades from a glossy amber to deep beige. Some restoration has been done, however condition about fine.
