Dinner Service (elements), "Bayrisches Königsservice", / Royal Bavarian w/ beaded edging, porcelain, 10 dinner plates Ø 24 cm, dodecagonal bodies w/ moulded pale blue pearl friezes, gilt and dark blue edging, gilt fringes, sides w/ pale blue painted beaded friezes, centre w/ medallions cont. en grisaille painted vedutas "Schloss Schleißheim, Schloss Lustheim, Schloss Nymphenburg, Im Hofgarten, Am Isartal, Partie v. Obersee, St. Alban am Ammersee", reverse w/ title, framed by gilt rim and dark blue bows, delicate gold painted foliage, rocaille grips, small spherical feet and knobs in the shape of umbels, underside of some rims w/ small expert restorations; Nymphenburg, impress. and green Rautenschild ca. 1915, decor no. 627, "Schlösser", design by Dominikus Auliczek 1792-1795 for the Bavarian Prince Elector Karl Theodor based on a copperplate print from the princely collection, elaborated with stylistic elements from antiquity.
