Diminutive single shot pin-fire pistol with original ivory grips in its authentic to the period wallet type casing. The pin-fire is almost a miniature measuring less than 3 ¾” overall with less than 1 ¾” barrel in 5mm pin fire short. The pistol retains 90% to 95% original nickel and there are small areas of flaking and loss and where the finish has lifted the metal shows some erosion and pinprick pitting. The action is a simpletwist to the side to load and the action is working. The grips are very good plus and there is some rust on the grip screw and escutcheon which does not show when in the case. This pin fire is contained within itsoriginal to the period velveteen lined French fitted wallet case which shows a small compartment containing four cartridges. The wallet case has a compartment for change and the case is in good condition showing somecracking to the exterior hardened leather but generally very good overall. One of the most attractive and smallest of pin fire pistols. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
