French pilot who, with navigator Maurice Bellonte, made the first nonstop flight from Paris to New York in 1930. Vintage ink signature, “D. Costes,” on an off-white 7.5 x 6 album page, with several other signatures on the same page. In very good condition, with scattered toning, foxing and soiling, a light central vertical fold, and a small tear to the bottom left corner.
