Nigerian boxer (1929–1971), born Richard Ihetu, who held middleweight and light heavyweight titles in the 1960s before his retirement and death from liver cancer at the age of 42. Uncommon glossy 7 x 8.25 full-length photo of Tiger in his prime, signed and inscribed in red felt tip “To Jim Wiggins, Best wishes from Dick Tiger.” Photo is also signed and inscribed again on the reverse in blue ballpoint. In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface impressions.
