<B>Dick Ayers and John Tartaglione - Sgt. Fury Special #2 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1966).</B></I> Face front, heroes: Sgt. Fury and his Howlers hit the beach on June 5th, 1944 in the most requested war saga of all, "This was... D-Day!" Wa-hoo! Darlin' Dick Ayers drew the large top panel of this Marvel milestone, while the rest of the cover is mainly composed of pasted-up photostats, with small touches of original art to extend the images to their borders. The image area of this Silver Age sensation measures 13" x 20", and aside from a missing caption paste-up in the lower left of the top panel, the art is in Very Good condition.
