Humorous Valentine’s Day card, measuring 5 x 7 closed, with cover featuring a teddy bear in a dress and reading, “Hey Valentine! Not many men will receive a Valentine’s Day card from Princess Diana…” with printed sentiment inside reading, “and you’re one of them!!!” Signed under the sentiment in black ink, “From Diana!,” who has also inscribed at the top, “To Mervyn.” In fine condition.
The shy Diana proved that she had a fun side, too. Presented as evidence is this fitting card, originally sent to Mervyn Wycherley, who had served as a chef to the Royal Family for 22 years—including 13 for Diana and Prince Charles, becoming one of her most trusted aides.
