In full: “A great deal of excitement is always caused when a blue & white parcel arrives here & the one that came today was no exception!! On opening the present I found the most beautiful silk shirt & there were screams of delight from the birthday girl! You both are incredibly kind & thoughtful to have given me such a special shirt—Far too smart to wear for the school run I think! A million thanks to you both.” In very fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Diana’s hand. Oldfield had been designing clothes for Diana since 1981.
