''Chicago Daily Tribune'' newspaper dated 3 November 1948 exclaiming ''DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN'', the most famous newspaper faux-pas of the 20th century. The Tribune so quickly rushed its printing that some of the type is even printed upside down. Most of the issues were taken off the stands when the Tribune realized its error, and only 2,000 were estimated to have reached private hands. Uniform toning and chipping along top and front page fold. Very good condition. 28pp. and includes part 2 of the paper, running 14pp., making the presumably complete paper 42pp.
