Dewas Senior Branch, Maharaja Vikramsingh Pawar (1937-1947 AD), Gold Nazarana Mohur, 5.15g, VS 1994 (1937 AD), legend in Modi script on both sides, Obverse: Rajya Dewas Mothi Pati 1994, Reverse: Vikramasinh Pawar. Unpublished. Extremely Fine, Extremely Rare. An extremely rare commemorative mohur, most probably issued during the accession ceremony of the ruler Vikramsinh Rao I Puar in 1937. The Dewas Junior and Senior seats were established in 1728 by two brothers from the Pawar clan, who advanced into Malwa with the Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao, and divided the territory among themselves after the Maratha conquest. Modi is a script used to write the Marathi language.
