The 2002 edition of <B>The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide</B></I> lists this as the 14th most valuable comic of all time, and moving up on the "Top 100 Golden Age Comics" list. Batman creator Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson combine for cover and interior art. Fred Guardineer and Ken Ernst contribute additional interior story artwork. To date, CGC has certified just three unrestored copies of this issue in high grade, and several more in mid-grade, not much nicer than our offering. CGC notes, "Large piece of tape on spine. Tape removed from cover." If you're working on a tight budget, but simply have to have the keys, this one is for you! Overstreet 2003 GD 2.0 value = $3,333; VG 4.0 value = $6,666. <B>Estimate: $3,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
