Batman's creator, Bob Kane, just 22 years old when this issue hit the stands, handled cover and interior art on this issue which introduced the Caped Crusader and Commissioner Gordon. Even at this grade, CGC has certified just five other unrestored copies with higher grades, none higher than Very Fine. CGC notes, "two small pieces of tape on spine." A great, uncommon opportunity for one giant of a comic book. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
