Charming Desvres faience earthenware bell shaped as a magician figurine marked on the underside with the blue trademark of Fourmaintraux Courquin. The Fourmaintraux Courquin earthenware factory was established in 1863 to manufacture tiles. In 1872 it began making artistic earthenwares with great success, particularly during the 1878 Universal Exposition of Paris. In good used condition with restoration and minor signs of wear as shown.
