Desirable World War II Luftwaffe "Ku" Marked 41/42 Code Luger Pistol Rig with Holster

This is an excellent example of a WWII P.08 Luger with the unique "Ku" marked barrel extension and "41/42" code markings. It is speculated that these "ku" marked P.08 Lugers were actually a very late 1944 order for the Luftwaffe that was assembled by the Krieghoff factory using left over, or substandard P.08 Luger parts from the Mauser factory. It is estimated that a total quantity of 5,000 were produced. This example has the "41" date on top of the chamber area with "42" the wartime code for the Mauser factory on the front toggle. The left side of the barrel extension has the small "ku" proof added in front of the serial number. This example has standard markings and military serial number placement, to include the full serial number stamped on the frame, barrel and barrel extension only with the last two digits of the serial number stamped on the various small parts. The left side of the barrel has the Krieghoff "LZA" Luftwaffe firing/acceptance proof with the top of the barrel stamped with the small "Eagle/135" Waffenamt proof. This Luger is complete with one type 4 Army magazines with the "fxo/Eagle 37/P08" marked magazine body with the pinned aluminum base that is stamped with the serial number (2765) over the Luftwaffe "LZA" acceptance proof. This lot is complete with a brown leather, 1940 dated holster. The backside is marked "KIMNACH U. BRUNN/KAISERSLAUTERN/1940".

Guage: 9 mm Luger
Finish: blue
Grips: walnut checkered

Excellent with 98% plus of the blue finish overall. The grips are also excellent. The holster is very fine with two non-factory "GI" applied holes in flap, otherwise clear sharp markings. Mechanically excellent. This Luger has all matching numbers to include the magazine as noted.
