The top of the chamber area is stamped "1942" for the year of manufacture with the large Mauser/Banner logo on the front toggle. The standard "Eagle/L" Police proof is stamped on the right side of the receiver, with the Nazi "Eagle/N" commercial proofmarks stamped on the left side of the receiver and the breechblock. The full serial number "3093y" is stamped on the front of the frame, left side of the barrel extension, with the last two digits of the serial number "93" stamped on the various small parts. The underside of the barrel is stamped with only the bore diameter, "8,82". The pistol has a salt blue finish and checkered walnut grips. This late production Police Luger rig is complete with two original, all blued, type three Police magazines. The magazines bodies are unmarked and have the pinned aluminum bases marked "1/3093" and "2/3093" respectively. It is complete with a 1942 dated A. Fischer Police holster.
