Desirable Pre-World War II Krieghoff "S" Code Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with One Matching Magazine and 1938 Dated Holster

This is a nice example of an early Krieghoff "S" code pre-war Luger that was manufactured in limited quantities for the Luftwaffe. The chamber is marked with the "S-Code" indicating manufacture in 1935. The pistol has a very low serial number "1263" with the early features such as the early B-2 variation marked toggle that has only the "H" and "K" marked on each side of the Krieghoff Anchor and the word "SUHL" marked below that. The blade is symmetrical and the points of the anchor nearly touch the outer edge of the letters "H" and "K" and the word "SUHL" is slightly slants to the right with the flat bottom on the letter "U". It has the typical military style serial number placement with the full serial number "1263" on the front of the frame and the left side of the barrel extension, the last two digits "63" on the side plate, front and rear toggle assembly, trigger and takedown lever. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with the early "LWaA" Luftwaffe acceptance proof followed by the Luftwaffe test proof and small "Eagle/2" proof. The underside of the barrel is marked with the bore diameter and the early "Eagle/2" acceptance proof. The pistol is fitted with early style Krieghoff coarse checkered walnut grips that have the slightly trapezoidal/flat top checkered pattern. They are correctly un-numbered or proofed on the backs. The magazine is nickel with an aluminum base marked with an "Eagle/2" proof and the serial number "1263". The pistol is complete with a brown military style leather flap holster marked on the back: "R. EHRHARDT POESSNECK/Eagle WaA29/1938", inside the flap it is ink marked "PRIEPKE/4626".
