Desirable Parker CH-grade 20ga side by side shotgun. 26-1/4” barrels, double triggers, standard extractors, fancy checkered stocks with metal skeleton buttplate and checkered butt. Serial number “91584”. The titanic steel marked barrels show 50-70% blue turning plum brown patina. The left barrel is unmarked, the right barrel shows the initial “K” a large numeral “3” a small numeral “8”, “Patnd April 11, 1875”, with large number “4” towards breech. Each barrel shows a “+” sign near the lug, and the lug shows large “O” marking. The frame shows high quality engraving with pointing dogs on each side surrounded by Parker scroll, running stag on bottom of frame. The frame shows patina finish with faint traces of case hardening mixed in and beneath the lever. The trigger guard has drifted to a light brown patina. The wood is just good with a break and glued repair to right side of wrist which needs to be properly restored. Other than this damage the wood would have been good to very good plus, with checkering still fairly sharp. The action is tight, the bores are very good. There is some bright case hardening remaining on the action. The gun is contained within and old generic dealer’s-type luggage case. A desirable combination of gauge and grade. Est.: $3,500 - $7,000.
