BBL: 5 1/2 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 44-40
Finish: nickel
Grips: hard rubber
Serial Number: 266214
Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 75% of the attractive original frosted untouched nickel finish. Most loss is due to flaking which is present on the barrel muzzle, top strap, front edge of the cylinder and on the front strap. The outer, unprotected area of the ejector housing has a smooth brown patina and the trigger guard bow is a mix of smooth brown patina and thin original nickel finish. There is some scattered minor blistering. The hammer retains 70% original case colors. Much of the original bright niter blue finish remains on the small parts with areas giving way to smooth brownish gray patina. The grips are very good with an area on the front, upper left panel that has some old grind marks, otherwise minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings remain clear. The action is excellent. This is the first factory nickel plated Bisley that writer has seen in several years. What a nice Colt Bisley.
