Very good plus. The barrel shows signs of some cleaning and has a mottled silver gray patina. The cylinder and frame have a smooth brownish patina. The trigger guard and backstrap retain 50% plus original silver, some darkened with age. The exposed brass has a dark aged patina. The cylinder scene is visible. The grips are very fine with most of the original varnish remaining, some lower edge wear and a few minor dents and dings. The markings are clear. The action is fine. A really nice, authentic Wells Fargo Colt Model 1849!
