Very fine. The barrel retains 40% original thin blue finish mixed with smooth mixed with smooth gray patina. The ejector housing also retains 40% original finish concentrated mainly on the underside and protected area near the frame. The trigger guard and top of the backstrap retain most of the original finish while the front and backstrap, and frame have a smooth gray patina. The cylinder has a smooth gray patina with most of the original blue remaining in the flutes. With exception of a moderate gouge on the right side, the grip is very fine retaining most of the varnish with some wear on the lower edges and some crazing beginning at the tops. Markings are crisp. The action is excellent.
