<td width="100%">
A Stevenson & Hancock, Derby, basket-weave porcelain dish with applied floral decoration in the Belleek style. (The Stevenson & Hancock porcelain works were purchased by the Royal Crown Derby Company in 1935.) This beautiful little dish has twisted rope handles and rim, which is interwoven with sprays of intricate delicate flowers. The body of the dish is basket weave, and the whole measures 5 inches diameter and just under 2 inches high. (13cm x 4.75cm). The flowers are beautifully modelled. There is no damage to the body of the dish, only a some small chips of the ends of flower petals. These are hard to see unless you examine each one. The maker?s mark is for Stevenson & Hancock, with the crown, crossed swords, and flanking S.H. mark. Under this is ?25?. A very beautiful item.
