Vintage cream-bodied Mosrite Ventures electric bass guitar signed upside down on the body in black felt tip by Dee Dee Ramone, with an artistic design of Ramone’s head with trademark shout of “1234!” painted below. Bass is missing original knobs, lifting to top pickup, and affixed labels to head and reverse of body. In very good condition, with extensive wear from use including scuffing, chipping, and yellowing to portions of paint; the rough condition adds to the item's overall 'punk' aesthetic. Accompanied by a hardshell carrying case.

After leaving the Ramones in 1989 to pursue a brief hip-hop career, founding member Douglas Colvin, aka Dee Dee Ramone, transitioned from bass to guitar and formed the Ramones tribute band The Ramainz with Marky Ramone, CJ Ramone, and his second wife Barbara Zampini, whom he married in 1997. Given his fervent departure from the instrument later in his career, basses signed by Dee Dee remain especially rare and highly coveted by collectors.
