Ink signature, “Oliver Wolcott,” on an off-white 3.5 x 1 clipped slip; and an ink signature, “Wm. Williams,” on an off-white 2 x 1 slip. Both signatures are affixed to the second free end page of Acts Passed at the First Session of the Congress of the United States of America, Volume I. 1793. Philadelphia, E. Oswald. Signatures are in very good condition, with a crease through first letter of Wolcott’s signature and show-through from writing on reverse of Williams’s slip. Book rates fair condition overall, with damp staining to opening and closing pages, as well as pastedowns, detached front cover and first free end page, wear to covers and spine, notations to inside front cover, bookplate to inside back cover, and light damp staining to inside pages.
