In full: “The Committee from Both Houses appointed to nominat (sic) officers & beg leave to recommend the Rev’d. Samuel Cotton of Litchfield for Chaplin and Capt. Benjamin Kimbal of Plaiston for paymaster in Col. Cilleys Regiment.” In fine condition, with a few small pin holes, show-through from docketing on the reverse, and professionally inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. Accompanied by an elaborate clamshell presentation book.
