Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Pennsylvania (1730–1779). Partial self-contained manuscript DS, signed “G. Ross,” one page, 7.5 x 6, 1754. Partial document appears to be an intention to bring suit for monies owed. Signed in the lower left corner by Ross. Matted and framed to an overall size of 12 x 10.25. Another portion of the document is included, as well as a photocopy of the larger document. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, show-through from writing on reverse, and scattered toning.
