<B>Declaration Signer Robert Treat Paine Document Signed,</B></I> partially printed, two pages, 8" x 8", Taunton, Massachusetts, August 23, 1770. A sheriff's subpoena to apprehend debtor Theophilus Clarke. Signed simply "<I>Paine</B></I>" on the verso. Toned paper with small red wax seal. A bit of soiling with one small split at the edge of a fold. Overall fine condition.
