Regarding business, it reads in part "...I am sorry to tell you that only Six Pipes of your Wine are yet sold and when I shall be able to sell the Remainder unless at Publick Sale, I know not that article is very Plenty and a large Quantity Expected and Cash very Scarce..." Livingston signed the Declaration as a representative from New York and was a member of the Continental Congress from 1775-1778. Fine condition; original light folds.
