A receipt indicating that Gerry was paid “<I>four pounds ten shillings</B></I>” on behalf of his father by one W. Thomas Pedrick. Fine condition. Elbridge Gerry would represent Massachusetts in the Continental Congress and go on to spend a lifetime in politics.
