Note to Congressman Daniel J. Flood, expressing his and Lady Bird's congratulations on re-election "...re-election to Congress. It just would not be the same body without you. You have served your people -- and your President -- ably and well, and I want you to know that I will always be deeply grateful..." Johnson himself, chose not to run for re-election in 1968. Staple holes at top left, otherwise extremely clean and bright with a strong, bold signature.
