<B>Deborah Kerr Scarf and Letters.</B></I> The lovely Deborah Kerr (1921-2007), who was an adventurous nun in <I>Black Narcissus,</B></I> Burt Lancaster's in-the-surf lover in <I>From Here to Eternity</B></I> and Anthony Perkins' introduction to manhood in <I>Tea and Sympathy,</B></I> provided this striking scarf showing a zebra, along with a note dated January 17, 1986 in which she provides the scarf for a celebrity auction, confirms it's "a personal item of mine" and signs in full in black ink. Also included is a chatty typed note dated May 15, 1990, in which she discusses the recent death of Garbo (and her final visit from her two years before), her own now "silver" hair, and her pride in her daughter and grandsons, along with a brief mention of <I>Tea and Sympathy.</B></I> She signs in black ink, "with fond love Deborah."
