The company operated the Death Valley mine at Cima, near the south end of Death Valley. Uncancelled. 2) Standard Mines Company cert. #1111, issued at Los Angeles in 1908. Inc. in Arizona. The company operated at Cima, near the south end of Death Valley. Large mill site vignette with flowers. Very attractive. The green water samples were richer in copper than anything on the surface at Butte which got Patsy Clark to incorporate the company. The company’s mine at Greenwater was the pioneer mine of the district, hauling supplies 125 miles from Las Vegas, and water from Furnace Creek, 25 miles away. The company operated the Skookum group of claims at Skookum, Death Valley, Inyo County. In 1929, Bunker carried on an extensive advertising campaign for the company that got him under federal indictment for mail fraud.
